Review of the Stun Master Hot Shot Stun Gun

A cool product that has been on the market for some time now is the Hot Shot stun gun made by Stun Master products. This nice little stun gun is very small and compact and is very easily concealable.

By the looks of this stun gun, one would think that it is a little Palm Pilot, a Blackberry, or a tiny hand phaser from Star Trek: The Original Series.

The dimensions of this little tool are 3.5" long by 2.5" wide by 1" in thickness. This black box gadget puts out a WHOPPING 975,000 volts. That is nearly 1 million volts! This is clearly a high output stun gun. It puts out more voltage than the police issue M-18 Taser used by law enforcement professionals.

This product's dimensions are about as small as a 10-pack of cigarettes and can fit easily in one's shirt pocket. The Hot Shot runs on three CR123A (size) lithium 3 V batteries which are included in this set.

The unit comes equipped with a safety switch on the lateral aspect of the box and an illuminated red light that notifies you that the weapon is ready to do some damage to the unsuspecting perpetrator.

A stainless steel belt clip is found on the back of the unit so that you can mount it on your belt.

At no time, will the user such as yourself feel any electric shock when applying this unit to your attacker. Even if he is holding you, the electricity will not pass into your body...only through his.

The Hot Shot comes with a Lifetime Warranty and is not intended to be used on children as a control device. It is not recommended that you discipline your children with this or any other type of stun gun. So keep it out of reach of children.

As with any stun gun, never press the trigger button for more than 1 second at a time because you may damage the internal circuitry and void the warranty. The probes on the stun gun must be applied on the suspect during firing.

Do not test this unit on yourself! I tried doing that one time on my thigh, and I got a sudden knee-jerk reaction. It was a big surprise for me to see how powerful this thing can put out. I then tested it out on my stomach, and I immediately had to go to the toilet. I don't recommend that you use this for treating constipation.

Do not test it out on your friends, even if it is a joke. This tool like any other stun gun will hurt and incapacitate him.
